March 5th was a lucky day for the ElvisPresley. In 1955 he made his TV debut on The Louisiana Hayride. He sang Blue Moon of Kentucky and That's All Right Mama. In 1960 he was discharged from the Army.It wasn't so lucky for Patsy Cline, Cowboy Copas and Hawkshaw Hawkins who were killed on this day in 1963 in a plane crash following a benefit concert.
