UNFAIR TO PRESIDENT BUSH?

UNFAIR TO PRESIDENT NIXON?

[Remember when most Republicans weren't fundamentalist pseudo-Christians? Nixon supported a broad environmental program and reduced tensions with China and the U.S.S.R.

President Bush is ignorant but not stupid according to someone who knows someone who knows him. If he is either stupid or ignorant, it is possible that he is not a liar.
When he says things, during the campaign and after, indicating that the administration must go before a judge and get a court order to do a wiretap he may just be ignorant. He may not be running the country and just didn’t know that the eavesdropping was happening. He may or may not know that he is not running the country. If he is neither stupid nor ignorant, pictures like these are unfair as are the ones here.

President Bush scheduled a visit a Methodist Church outside Washington to smooth over damaged relations with Methodists because of his position on stem cell research and the like. His staff notified the Bishop that they'd arrange for a $100,000 contribution to the church if during his sermon, the Bishop would say that “the President is a saint." The Church desperately needed funds so the Bishop agreed.
Bush pompously showed up looking especially smug. As the sermon progressed the Bishop began his homily: "George Bush is petty, a self-absorbed hypocrite and a nitwit. He is a liar, a cheat, and a low-intelligence weasel. He has lied about his military record and had the gall to put himself in a jet plane landing on a carrier posing before a banner stating 'Mission Accomplished.' He invaded a country for oil and money, and is using it to lie to the American people. He is the worst example of a Methodist I've ever personally known. But compared to Dick Cheney and the rest of his cabinet, George Bush is a saint.”

"George Bush before he Georges you" just doesn't have the same ring.
