That Conservative Christians Against Jesus Christ group missed a key issue - separation of church and state. Another instance of jaw dropping liberalism on the part of that radical Jesus of Nazareth, "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto the lord what is the lords." He also taught that one should not flaunt one's piety, seek personal gain from your faith (least you find your reward on earth rather than in heaven) nor pray in public. How, pray tell, can one establish a viable theocracy lead by someone of appropriate theological views and values if candidates must adhere to those concepts?
Truth is Jesus was just not the conservative that many would make him out to be. His teaching are a threat to Christianity as we have come to know it. Something needs to be done about it, because if people ever start reading the bible instead of thumping it, Jesus will end up giving Christianity a bad name.
