Spanking Cures Depression & Addiction-Beats the 12 Steps & Pills.

As many of you know, Virg, and the Snoddys in general, tend to drink too much and suffer from depression. We also have nothing against light flagellation between consenting adults for good, clean fun. We are, however, reluctant to take this cure until someone we know has tried it and verifies that it works and is not just a big pain in the butt. Volunteers?

"Siberian scientists believe that addiction to alcohol and narcotics, as well as depression, suicidal thoughts and psychosomatic diseases occur when an individual loses his or her interest in life. The absence of the will to live is caused with decreasing production of endorphins - the substance, which is known as the hormone of happiness. If a depressed individual receives a physical punishment, whipping that is, it will stir up endorphin receptors, activate the “production of happiness' and eventually remove depressive feelings.
Russian scientists recommend the following course of the whipping therapy: 30 sessions of 60 whips on the buttocks in every procedure. A group of drug addicts volunteered to test the new method of treatment: the results can be described as good and excellent.
Doctor of Biological Sciences, Sergei Speransky, is a very well known figure in Novosibirsk. The doctor became one of the authors of the shocking whipping therapy. The professor used the self-flagellation method to cure his own depression; he also recovered from two heart attacks with the help of physical tortures too.
'The whipping therapy becomes much more efficient when a patients receives the punishment from a person of the opposite sex. The effect is astounding: the patient starts seeing only bright colors in the surrounding world, the heartache disappears, although it will take a certain time for the buttocks to heal, of course,' Sergei Speransky told the Izvestia newspaper.
The whipping therapy has not become a new discovery in the history of medicine. Tibetan monks widely used it for medical purposes too. Soviet specialists used a special method of torturing therapy at mental hospitals. They made injections of brimstone and peach oil mixture to inspire mentally unbalanced patience with a will to live. A patient would suffer from horrible pain in the body after such an injection, but he or she would change their attitude to life for the better afterwards." from Whipping therapy cures depression and suicide crises
They highlighted how, in the 19th century, German doctors had achieved positive results on everything from depression to pneumonia by caning their patients. Marina Chuhrova, who took part in preparing the report, said of the 10 patients she caned regularly to test the results: 'At first they didn't like it, but when they started to feel the benefits they kept asking for more.' The Russian team is now charging for the sessions, getting $A140 for a standard treatment. Research by other scientists has suggested endorphins can be obtained by less painful means. Foods such as chocolate or chilli peppers can also lead to enhanced secretion of endorphins. Exercise, acupuncture, massage therapy and sex can also stimulate endorphin secretion, but the Russian team say none of those methods is as effective as a good caning. Dr Speransky, head of biological sciences at the Novosibirsk Institute of Medicine, said you could eat chocolate, exercise then have a caning. 'That way you can get a maximum dose of endorphins.'" from A good caning takes some beating By Allan Hall in Age

Spanking is definitely therapeutic, however, intense pain, and need for a healing period are not necessary. Percussive spanking features consistent, rapid, rhythmic and light to medium weight spanks that increase in intensity very gradually over a long period of time. This technique can and usually does result in the bottom experiencing a condition called "subspace." Trance music is often used during a PS in place of scolding or verbal reprimanding, which furthers the disassociation of the mind from the body to allow it to "fly". There is typically no pain during a PS, the spanks are so light they are often felt as more of a vigorous skin massage, and the area is no more than lightly pink after the session is done.
