Virgil's Trial Tip of The Day.

Sometimes, it's more important to put the fear of God in your own witnesses than the other side's.
Constitution Of The State Of Arkansas Of 1874. Article 19. Miscellaneous Provisions.
§ 1. Atheists disqualified from holding office or testifying as witness.
No person who denies the being of a God shall hold any office in the civil departments of this State, nor be competent to testify as a witness in any Court.

Next thing you know, the ACLU will be spending its Godless money trying to get the Arkansas Supreme Court to rule that Lord Jesus has no place in our blessed state constitution!

Good to know that an inevitable conclusion of logical reasoning is a disqualification for public service and justice in the home state... woo pig.

Some things don't require faith. Mark Twain was asked, “Mr. Twain, do you believe in infant baptism?”

“Do I believe in it? Hell, I’ve seen it!” he replied.

Mojohand brings up another important point. We need to tighten up the language in the Constitution to make belief in the one true God, the Baby Jesus, necessary to qualify as a witness or public official. Otherwise, some heathen who believes in Mohamed, Allah, Buddha, or the Jew god could qualify.

This takes cloudy judgement to a whole new level.
