Virg died on June 13, 1917 leaving Clyde with a young son and, probably unknown to them both, pregnant with another.

I see a similarity in Grandpa Virg and Dorothy Dial....

I know that Dorothy Dial didn't marry a woman. She didn't drown when she was 21. She saw all her kids born and reared them. I reckon you mean that they were both good lookin, though I'll take Dorothy hands down.

Why is it that you always have to get crap mixed up or have to make somethin' out of nothin'??? Huh??? How Come?? I was just making an observation in the similarities of the kin and you have go and get all twisted on me....Sometimes I wonder how you've survived in this day and time without someone wiping you out! And NO; that's not a threat!!! Don't even GO THERE!!!

Sally:
I don't know. It just comes naturally. I'm sure it's not a threat, because I have faith in the basic gentleness of you, the Snoddys, and the Scots-Irish in general. I won't go there strictly out of love & respect.

Unfortunately I have Cherokee and Aztec Indian in me, as well....I'm currently plotting a trail of tears to Northwest Arkansas to Scalp you out! (I think I've changed my mind about the threat.....so cut the bull about the love and respect, yada yada!)
