I was arguing with some folks about black & white music & whether country & blues had common roots. I was right, of course. Here, Johnny & Louis recreate a session that Louis had with the Singing Brakeman in 1930.

You "done yerself proud" by making these two posts that pay homage to the GREAT Jimmie Rodgers!! It was good to see Jimmie in that that old film clip. Adding the video of Johnny and Louie was a nice touch also! Thanks!
