How Bout Them Hogs?

This is the year of the pig. Virgil was born under its sign and is damned proud of it. The Chinese are right to honor this noble being. Those who don't and/or think it is unclean are just ignorant. (See, post below-No, I'm not saying that all Texans, Muslims or Jews are bad, but those who loathe pigs don't know God. May She forgive them for despising Her magnificent creation.) Pigs are right behind whales in smarts and ahead of lots of people. They are sensitive and have feelings like we do. They'll either love you or leave you alone, but will fight to defend their own. ". . . the pig in real life, in its natural environment, is neither dirty, gross nor nasty, but instead is blessed with sensitivity, intelligence, curiosity and charm. It is time we reappraise our attitudes to pigs, for they are surely animals worthy of our love and compassion, not disparagement, unkindness and abuse."
