Many Evangelicals are not “nuts” and certainly not stupid.

So, Texas is a big Republican state….and Dallas is the main bastion (think SMU). The elections here have about 100 local races, mostly judgeships…and one of the first options on the electronic voting machines is to just vote one party on everything. Apparently, a lot of people did that. The Democrats cleaned up down here….first time in history. They elected a black Prosecuting Attorney and the County Judge was a very popular woman…well, one of those “nobody’s” who didn’t even advertise and had no noticeable support beat her by 3,000 votes out of 500,000 cast. Interesting down here today.
