Pete Fountain at Eighty.

Maxie Gundlach, Benny Goodman, Pete Fountain, Myra Lingle Earls, Greer Lingle, and Woody Allen, in that order, are the best clarinet players I've ever heard.  Pete is the only one I heard play after they were over the age of 80. I bet there were none better.  Here's to you PDL.  Oh didn't you ramble?

Thanks to Marina, Pete's GGGD somewhere along the line.

Thank you.
PDL is for Pierre Dewey LaFontaine, Pete's birth name.

GGGD stands for Great Great Grand Daughter.
