Don't Make Boudica Angry. You Wouldn't Like Her When She's Angry.
Boudica "slaughtered a Roman army. She torched Londinium, leaving a charred layer almost half a meter thick that can still be traced under modern London. According to the Roman historian Cornelius Tacitus, her army killed as many as 70,000 civilians in Londinium, Verulamium and Camulodunum, rushing 'to cut throats, hang, burn, and crucify. . . .Why was she so angry?" See, Boudica: Celtic War Queen Who Challenged Rome

I found this version done in a lower range. I hope it saves lives. In any event, you and Boudica should like the images.

Sexism & Celibacy
"I have no quarrel with the Christ, only with his priests, who call the Great Goddess a demon and deny that she ever held power in this world. At best, they say that her power was of Satan. Or else they clothe her in the blue robe of the Lady of Nazareth - who indeed had power in her way, too - and say that she was ever virgin. But what can a virgin know of the sorrows and travail of mankind?"-Morgan le Fay as recorded in The Mists of Avalon.

Springdale in an Uproar. River City says "Thank God for Springdale."
Free Thinkers have caused panic in Springdale, but joy to the perennial most evil River City. The Springdale Rotary club sang If You Don't Love Jesus, Go To Hell, at their weekly meeting yesterday. A Springdale city official claimed that there hasn't been an atheist spotted in the town since 1959 when a bunch of Baha''is were tarred, feathered, and run out of town. Local clergyman Ronnie Floyd took it all in stride. "Free!? I reckon you get what you pay for," said Floyd with a grin.
Thanks for Trying, Pope John.
Pope John XXIII left us 47 years ago this month. He convened the Second Vatican Council to get the Church out of the dark ages and to bring us all together. John Paul II & Benedict XVI have not been so enlightened. "One crucial principle so prominent in the council's thinking, 'collegiality' in making decisions on the future of the church, has been set aside during both John Paul II's and Benedict's pontificates.
All this has happened while the Vatican has consistently spoken of its faithfulness to the principles of Vatican II. There have been two ways of opposing those principles: one to express opposition openly as some ultra-conservatives have done, the other to rewrite Vatican II's history, as curia officials and their admirers have been doing over the last quarter-century and more. This is what Our Lady of Belém was treated to last week. Well, she's full of grace, so I expect she smiled." Vatican II: Benedict rewrites history- At a speech in Portugal Pope Benedict gave us a rare insight into his feelings about the second Vatican council. By Diarmaid MacCulloch
