Thanks much for the Amazon links ... I read several of the reviews there, and may have to order a couple of the books that you mention. However, I will save further comment for a different avenue of communications ... as suggested by our email "group host", Esquire Jim. I'll admit that I may have "over-reached" in an email or two ... in spite of my "liberal leanings", I'm NOT well-known for "being PC" !! ;>)

As for the Blog option, as an alternative to the email communication, it sounds interesting ... but I have little experience thus far with "blogging", and don't know of anyone in our group that has a Blogspot, other than Patti. Maybe we need a "Scheister Jim" Blogspot?

I'm assuming that the the email being forwarded ("Dear Rogersites:") in purely tongue-in-cheek "Lingle-speak" ... as I find only about a half dozen
posts, and essentially no comments at this blog site:
http://rockhopers.blogspot.com/ In fact, much of the RHS material that was on this blogspot during the first day of operation is now missing. So, what gives, Esquire?? Is there a different location (URL) that I'm missing? Without the RHS email, I was hoping that there might be an active blog
develop somewhere ... but I've been "away" for several days, and may have missed something. BTW, that's a GREAT picture of little "Virgil" on the Bio

Lingle is deeply wounded, and has withdrawn. In his honor, I've made a special RHS post to http://www.rockhopers.blogspot.com/ by which you can communicate comments to the post. Lingle may join when he is up to it. He gave me a picture of, David Swearingen he thinks, that I have posted. If any of you have other pictures that you'd like to have posted, send them to Patti or me. Of course, feel free to comment on any other sections of the blog.
