The food bin was recommended and installed by an engineer, a lawyer, a teacher, and a professional carpenter. The first night, the coons got the lid off. After the lid was secured, the coons started using the lever. They left the great mound of food, pictured here, on the porch. The cats apparently couldn't figure out what the mound was and appeared to be starving until the food was scooped from the mound and placed in their bowls.
